Yemeni counter-terrorism forces have killed one al-Qaeda suspect and arrested three more in a dawn raid on a house in the southern city of Aden. “A counter-terrorism unit has attacked an apartment in [Aden’s] Al Mansoura district after receiving information about suspected al-Qaeda elements [in the area],” security sources said on Sunday. Militants were suspected have planning terrorist operations targeting vital infrastructure across Aden, sources added. The man arrested had tried to blow himself up with an explosive belt but was disarmed during the raid.
