Nine Syrians have been killed and 29 injured after a bus carrying refugees overturned in al-Kahala, east Beirut.
Lebanon’s Red Cross has confirmed that the accident happened on the two-way international road between Beirut and Damascus.
In a statement, Secretary-General George Katana said that up to 35 medics had provided the necessary aid to those involved in the disaster.
The bodies of nine people and 29 other casualties were transferred to hospitals in al-Sahel, al-Hayat, and al-Hariri.
