Nine persons were killed and injured when an explosive charge went off on Thursday in south eastern Baghdad. The explosive charge was planted on the road side in Nahrawan. The blast left one civilian killed and eight others injured, said an Iraqi security source. Security forces cordoned off the scene of the blast and combed the area to search for the perpetrators, while the ambulance rushed the injured to hospital for treatment, the source added Source: MENA
