Israeli warplanes staged raids early on Friday targeting positions of Palestinian factions in Gaza Strip.
Local radio stations reported the jet fighters attacked "Al-Safina position, " northwest of Gaza city. A female child in a nearby house was wounded with flying shrapnel. She was whisked to hospital for treatment.
The targeted building houses offices for the Palestinian Administration security apparatus.
The warplanes also struck a plot of land in Bisan town, slightly wounding two civilians. They also attacked a deserted house and a farming plot west of Rafah town. A man, his wife and their two daughters were wounded in this attack.
This strike caused a huge fire, prompting firemen to rush to the scene and put out the blazes.
A spokesman of the Israeli Army said the raids targeted hideouts for "storing combat means for the Palestinian factions." He added they were carried out in retaliation for firing a missile, last night, in direction of western Negev.
