A boy was killed and six persons of the same family were injured Thursday in a road accident on Wadi El Natrun/El Alamein road.

Matrouh security chief Hisham Nasr said the 8-year-old boy and the six injured were moved to El Alamein central hospital.

The Public Prosecution was notified to launch an investigation into the incident.
