The Filipino government has announced a new casualty report from the four-day hostage crisis at the In Amenas gas field in Algeria, claiming seven citizens from the Philippines were in fact killed. “Seven Filipino nationals were killed. Four others were injured and two remain missing,” Department of Foreign Affairs spokesman, Raul Hernandez, said. Previous official reports listed six deceased, four missing and two injured. However, a British employee at the site was able to identify the body of a Filipino national killed during the crisis. "Most of the victims were killed by gunshot or in explosions," Hernandez added.
