North Sinai security forces killed six Takfiri elements and arrested 12 suspects, security sources said Tuesday.
During a wide-scale crackdown targeting the entrances and exits of Sheikh Zuweid and Rafah, the security forces also seized a machine gun, surveillance telescope and a magazine along with electro-explosive circuits.
Also, three farms of marijuana were burnt along with three drug stores, the sources said.
Meantime, 36 hotbeds of terrorists were destroyed during the campaign, the sources added.
