Sanaa - Ali Rabea
Yemeni intelligence authorities on Monday released six Iraqi prisoners suspected of working for al-Qaeda.
Yemeni human rights activist and the representative of al-Karama international organization Mohamed Al Ahmady told Arabstoday: \"Intelligence authorities released the prisoners without charging them.\"
Two other Yemeni prisoners are currently held by Iraqi authorities and potentially face death penalties. Various human rights organizations promised to fight for their release.
