Security forces killed six gunmen while attempting to attack a security checkpoint near Arish airport, eyewitnesses said on Thursday. The witnesses said the gunmen, driving a Land Cruiser, pulled over at an area near the airport to plan its attack but they were spotted by security men who immediately gun them down.
