Six Daesh militants were killed on Saturday in a military operation in Diyala province, northeast Iraq.
Security sources said an Iraqi force, backed by tribal fighters, killed two Daesh commanders, including a person who was a mastermind of Spyker massacre, in which 1,700 troops were captured and killed by firing squad in Salahuddin province.
Another Daesh senior commander was killed with four of his aides in a blast in Mosul, the sources added.
