Clashes in Libya's Benghazi

At least five civilians have been killed and 17 more wounded by flying shrapnel in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi.

Three shells were fired on Beirut Street, said Fadia al Barghathi, the media official at al Jalaa Hospital, which received the injured Sunday night.

They arrived with various injuries, some slight, others moderate and others critical, Barghathi told MENA Monday.

Some of the injured received first aid and left immediately, she said.
