Forty members of the militant group of Daesh were killed on Friday during clashes with tmKurdish Peshmerga forces backed by international coalition airstrikes.

The forces thwarted an attack by the Daesh militants on the town of Sinjar, 400km northwest of Baghdad, Kurdish sources said. At least 25 militants were killed in the clash.

Also, fifteen members of the militant group were spotted and targeted by Kurdish forces after being attacked by US-led coalition warplanes.
