Three people were injured when an improvised explosive charge went off to the west of Algiers, capital city of Algeria.
The Algerian National Security (ANS) said Thursday the bomb exploded when a small truck carrying travelers passed by on the road between Bin Fudhail and Al-Qaderia towns.
The three injured young men, aged 15 years, 18 years, and 21 years, were all transferred to nearby hospital, according to an ANS statement.
The statement added the bomb was detonated remotely and was planted on the side of the road.
