Three fighters of Lebanese Hezbollah movement were killed in clashes with Syrian opposition militants in Syria's Qalamoun region adjacent to the Lebanese borders.

In a statement, the Hezbollah movement denies reports on killing 40 fighters in the ongoing confrontations, describing them as baseless.

In a related context, a missile was fired into agriculture lands in eastern Lebanon with no casualties reported.
