Twenty-seven members of Daesh group were killed in operations launched in Salaheddin and Nineveh provinces, some 290km north-west of Baghdad.
They included 15 militant who were killed in an air raid launched by the US-led coalition in Sinjar, Nineveh Province, Iraqi Defense Ministry said on Saturday.
At least 12 others were killed in clashes with the militant group in Salaheddin, the ministry said.
One of the militants was a suicider who was found with an explosives belt around his body, the ministry added.
