Two Syrian children were killed and another was hospitalised after a fire broke out in the house of a Syrian family seeking refuge in Kfar-Remman. The fire broke out Thursday evening at the house of Ali Amin Rizk. Ahmad Hassoun, 3, and his four-year-old sister Mona died from smoke inhalation. Their brother Mahmoud Hassoun was injured in the incident. He was rushed to Nabih Berri University Hospital in Nabatieh. The children were alone at home when electricity cut prompt them to light up a candle and their mattress caught fire, according to reports. The Internal Security Forces opened an investigation into the accident.
