The Lebanese embassy in Nigeria has confirmed to the country’s Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour that an unidentified group of gunmen kidnapped seven foreign workers at a Lebanese-owned construction company in northern Nigeria. The incident took place on Sunday morning at a Setraco site in Jama’are. The workers included two Lebanese men, who have been named as Emad al-Indari and Carlos Abu Aziz. Mansour revealed he had instructed the Lebanese embassy to take the necessary steps to secure the hostages’ release.
