At least two Iraqis was killed and about 25 others were injured in suicide blast carried out by five elements of the Daesh terrorist group at checkpoints set up in Samarra city of Saladin province.
Scores of Iraqi forces were killed and wounded in the suicide blasts that targeted a gathering of al Hashd al Shaabi elements in western Iraq in Samarra, Salaheddine province, security and medical sources said.
Meanwhile, the Iraqi troops repelled a mortar shell attack on the area, according to the sources.
