Two people were injured in the blast that took place near Kobba palace in Cairo late Thursday, the Health Ministry said.
No fatalities were reported in the attack, spokesman for the ministry Hossam Abdel Ghafar told MENA.
The injured were moved to hospitals for treatment, Abdel Ghafar said, asserting that three ambulances have been deployed at the scene.
