Two members of the terrorist Hasm group were killed in a shootout with policemen in Qalyubia.

The two terrorists were involved in a series of terrorist attacks, including shooting dead a police officer in the governorate last month, the Interior Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

A machine gun and a pistol in addition to a large number of bullets were seized.

All legal procedures were taken and the Supreme State Security Prosecution was notified to launch a probe into the incident.
