The bodies of two unidentified men have been found in the Egyptian city of Rafah, security sources confirmed today.
The men, believed to be African immigrants in their 20s, showed signs of torture, although a cause of death is yet to be revealed.
Police suspect the men were murdered over a dispute with human traffickers who are known to operate in the area.
Deaths in Egypt involving African immigrants have increased in recent years. A number of bodies of African men have been found outside hospitals in border region of North Sinai – often considered a hotspot for human trafficking.
