Cairo International Airport

A private plane carrying 160 Yemenis arrived Tuesday at Cairo International Airport fleeing the ongoing war between Huthis militants and the Saudi-led coalition shelling on them.

Security sources at the airport said the security authorities allowed the landing of the plane and a passports authority team was formed to inspect the identities of the Yemeni passengers before allowing them into the country.

After checking their papers, 65 passengers were proved to be complying with the conditions of allowing foreigners to enter the country, while investigations are still under way to check the other passengers' security papers.
