At least 16 people were killed and 30 others wounded when a suicide bomber detonated his explosive belt among mourners attending a funeral in Baghdad. A security source said the attack occurred in the Baghdad suburb of Dora. On Saturday, Iraqi officials said car bombings killed mourners at a funeral in a predominately Shiite area of Baghdad, one of a string of deadly attacks on Saturday that left at least 60 people dead. Police say the Sadr City blasts took place near a crowded funeral tent. At least 50 people were killed and 70 wounded. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attacks. However, violence between Sunni and Shiite Muslims has risen sharply in recent months, raising fears of all-out sectarian warfare. Source: MENA
