Thirteen Daesh elements were killed in clashes with the residents of the eastern Libyan city of Derna over the past three days.
Nearly two-thirds of the city has been liberated from the Daesh control after the group withdrew from several neighborhoods, the Libyan News Agency reported.
Residents had staged a peaceful protest outside a central mosque in the city to reject the presence of the militant group.
