As many as 1,200 air strikes have been launched by a Saudi-led coalition in Yemen, said a military spokesman on Saturday.

This is the 17th day of the Operation Decisive Storm.

The strikes targeted sites of Houthi fighters and troops loyal to former president Ali Abdullah Saleh.

The coalition has increased its daily strikes to 80, said its spokesman Ahmad during a briefing.
