Yemen and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) signed here on Wednesday an agreement of project to protect and restore agricultural assets of displaced families. The agreement was signed by Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation engineer Farid Mujawar and FAO representative in Yemen, Dr. Fuad al-Domi. The project aims to improve food security and mechanisms for dealing with the worst affected families from the internally displaced persons (IDPs) and their host communities in Hajjah and the returnees in Abyan by maintaining and restoring and improving their productive assets.
