Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basindwa on Sunday inaugurated the protective immunization campaign against polio implemented by the Ministry of Public Health and Population. The three-day campaign targets over 2.1 million children under the age of five in 11 governorates. The Premier was briefed on the campaign, in which more than 17,000 health workers participate in, in addition to around 750 health supervisors at the governorate and district levels.
