Norway plans to decriminalized the inhalation of heroin to reduce the number of overdoses in the country, health minister announced on Friday. This method of taking the drug is less dangerous than injection. Norway ranks among the top countries in Europe for overdose deaths. An estimated 10,000 addicts in Norway use the drug, with 262 deaths in 2011, according to the Norwegian Institute for Alcohol and Drug Research.  The government  is to review the plan for fighting drug addiction next week.
