Rafah - Yousry Mohamed
Ten tons of medical supplies have been transported into the Gaza Strip via Rafah, a source has reported. Approximately 338 parcels of medical aid for the Palestinian people were transported in an Egyptian Red Crescent truck. The United Arab Emirates charity responsible for the medicines hopes that the aid will help replenish the deficit of pharmaceutical supplies in hospitals and medical centres in the region. According to the source the truck crossed the border on Monday. The project was coordinated between the Egyptian Red Crescent in north Sinai, and its Palestinian counterpart in Gaza.
