Minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform Abdelmalek Boudiaf highlighted Wednesday Algeria’s willingness to further develop the Algerian-British mutually beneficial cooperation, said the Health ministry in a communiqué.
Boudiaf underlined Algeria’s willingness to further develop the bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation, stressing the fact that the development programme of the health sector is part of the comprehensive development and modernization process of the country initiated by the President of the Republic and mobilizing substantial financial resources,” added the source.
Boudiaf’s statement was made at the end of his discussions with the UK ambassador to Algeria, Andrew Noble with whom he discussed the development of bilateral relations in health sector.
The meeting allowed to assess this cooperation in various fields, said the communiqué.
In this regard, Boudiaf underlined that “the infrastructure modernization programme opened the door to all partnerships insofar as Algerian authorities decided to entrust the construction of these hospitals nation-wide to renowned international groups, which will be in charge of the study, construction, equipment and management support as it is the case for the new hospital projects.”
