US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson arrived Tuesday in Thailand to hold talks on trade and security.
The visit is the first of its kind by a high ranking US official since the military coup witnessed by the country during which the government that was elected three years ago was overthrown, BBC reported.
Tillerson is currently on a foreign tour, which included the Philippines to partake in the Asian forgiven ministers forum.
