Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s current visit to France comes within the deep-rooted relations between the two countries, Presidency Spokesman Alaa Youssef told the delegation accompanying the president.

This is Sisi’s third visit to France as a president and the first after the inauguration of Emmanuel Macron as new French president.

Sisi’s visit comes after boosting relations with France in the past period especially in the fields of economy, culture and military as well as the continuous talks and coordination concerning regional and international issues of mutual concern.

The president will hold this evening a meeting with head of a French company. He will also be interviewed by France 24 then attend a banquet held by French Defense Minister Florence Parley in honor of Sisi, the spokesman said.

The president will be received on Tuesday by Macron then he will attend a banquet held by the French president in honor of president Sisi. The two presidents will attend the signing ceremony of 17 cooperation deals in various fields including economy and investment.
