Minister of Planning, Monitoring and Administrative Reform Hala el Saeed said the World Bank loan was considered with governors as well as with the ministers of local development and industry.

The minister made the remarks during her meeting Thursday with executive officials in Qena in order to review the projects to be financed by the loan in the Upper Egyptian governorate.

The loan dedicated to the projects is estimated at $500 million over three years, she said, noting that the Egyptian government will disburse similar loan during the same period.

The projects will be launched in the governorate soon, Saeed added.
