Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister Tarek el Molla received on Monday France's highest military and civil merits honour, the National Order of the Legion of Honour.

Molla received the medal from French Ambassador to Egypt Stephane Romatet during a ceremony that was held Sunday evening at the French Embassy in Cairo.
