A fierce battle between National Army and militias

A fierce battle between National Army and militias on the western front of Taiz province is happening  since Tuesday morning  ,and the Yemeni Army is advancing in Gharab and Madras areas, determined to lift the siege of Taiz,  according to field sources.

The militias shelled army positions in northeast of the city with different weapons, but the army managed to stop them ,and successfully repulsed a violent attack launched by Houthi and Saleh militias against them . The militias also bombed eastern and midtown neighborhoods using Mortars and tank shells .
 
The Army managed to control new sites in coastal Medy ,Hajjaha providence, north-west of Yemen after violent clashes with the militias , according to military sources , at the same time the second general continued his  advance in the southeast of the city ,while general 82 entered the city from North West to control the building occupied by the militias.

According to the same sources ,and due to yesterday and today’s battles , Houthi militias suffered great losses which led them to leave their positions and weapons behind and escape .
 
The Arab coalition announced its intention to carry out a military plan to gain its legal control over Hodeidah Port ,which seriously alarmed  the rebels and made them ask some members of the Security Council to intervene to stop this plan .

After finding out how the rebels use the port to control the Humanitarian relief supplies for their own good , the spokesman for Arab Coalition declared that ,the military plan is to be carried out soon , especially  after the United Nations’ refusal to supervise the port .

The personal escort of the president of the so-called High Revolutionary Committee in Marib , Fares Aziz Kasem Tawie Was killed along with number of his companions by the National Army .

The Pentagon declared on Monday that US warplanes launched 20 raids targeting Qaeda fighters in Yemen ,  and the raids happened during the weekend without giving any further details .
