Hundreds of Syrians gathered in occupied Syrian Golan.

The people of the occupied Syrian Golan reiterated their rejection of all plans by the Israeli occupation to Judaize their land and displace them, particularly the recent wind turbines project that the occupation intends to build on their farmlands.

The locals affirmed that they reject building the turbines as they will have a very negative impact on agriculture, the environment, and livestock, particularly since 60% of them rely on cultivating apples and cherries, and the turbines are a big threat to their crops.

The occupation authorities latest project to displace Syrians in the occupied Golan involves building 52 wind turbines over 6,000 dunams (6 square kilometers) in the areas of al-Hafayer, Sahita, al-Khawarit, al-Masna’a, Hama al-Mshairfeh, and Ra’abna in the Golan.

The farmers of the Golan and a number of activists gathered in the village of Mas’ada to rally the public against the turbines project.
