Students clashed with the soldiers.

Israeli army units raided early Monday the town of Azzoun, near the northern West Bank city of Qalqilya, and clashed with students who were on their way to their schools, according to witnesses.

They said soldiers raided Azzoun town during the night and threw stun grenade and tear gas canisters at the homes as the army patrols passed through it.

The soldiers stayed in the town and in the vicinity of the schools and the town center where they harassed students who were on their way to their schools.

The students clashed with the soldiers who fired tear gas and stun grenades at them causing several cases of suffocation from gas inhalation among the students.

The soldiers also blocked roads in the town and prevented movement of cars in and out of it.
