Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Saturday met with President of the International Crisis Group Jean-Marie Guehenno, on the sidelines of Egypt's participation in the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The meeting dealt with the latest developments in Libya, counter-terrorism efforts, the Palestinian cause, and the situation in Syria, the spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid said in a statement.
