Senegal and Gambia thanked President of Cairo University Gaber Nassar for exempting students from all African states from paying fees of residency and food in the university.

The Foreign Ministry informed the Supreme Council of Universities with the messages sent by the Senegalese and Gambian foreign ministries which asserted that the decision of the university president reflects Egypt’s desire to boost cooperation and solidarity with the African countries. 

The decision comes to ease the living conditions of the African students due to the bad economic circumstances in their countries.
