Premier HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa

Deputy Premier HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Education and Training Development, and in the presence of Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Noaimi, received Dr. Ali Abdul Khaliq Al Qarani the General Director of the Arab Bureau for Education in the Arabian Gulf States, former education ministers and officials participating in the Education Seminar entitled “The Role of Teacher in Efficiency of Education” hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The seminar was organized by the Arab Centre for Educational Research in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD).

Welcoming the guests, HH Shaikh Mohammed affirmed that the topics discussed by the seminar concern the role of teacher and increasing his qualification and capacity to provide advanced teaching to students. The teacher is the cornerstone of the teaching/learning process, said the deputy PM.

The Kingdom of Bahrain has taken advanced strides in this field, established the Teachers College as one of the initiatives aimed to develop education and training. The first batches of trained and qualified teachers was graduated according to the latest international tools and standards in this field. The qualified teacher is capable of creating the aspired change in the teaching/learning process.

The participants thanked HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa the Deputy Premier for his welcoming reception, praising the Kingdom of Bahrain’s achievements and remarkable development in the educational process in all stages of schooling, including the qualification and preparation of teachers. They expressed their gratitude and appreciation of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s role in hosting the activities of this seminar.
