The Higher Education Council approved during its meeting Tuesday under Minister of Education Hilali al Sherbini the start of the new school year on September 24.

The meeting grouped President of Cairo University Gaber Nassar as well as representatives of the ministries of culture, manpower, higher education, finance, industry, agriculture, planning and administrative reform as well as Azhar.

The meeting discussed a draft ministerial decision to issue a statute for school regulations to revive the educational and ethical values at schools and introduce new methods for punctuality and order as per the educational process
