Weather in Jerusalem and Bethlehem.

A significant drop in temperature is expected for Thursday to become slightly below its annual average with partially cloudy to cloudy skies, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Scattered rain and thunderstorms are expected on many areas with winds southwesterly to westerly, moderate to active to reach a speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour at times. Sea waves are medium to high.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 24°C and a low of 16°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 23°C and a low of 15°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 34°C and a low of 24°C and in Gaza and the coastal areas, temperature is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 19°C.

Friday’s weather is partially cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold in daytime and cold at night. Temperature is expected to further drop and become 7°C lower than the seasonal average with a chance of morning scattered showers and occasional thunderstorms.

Saturday’s weather is expected to be partially cloudy and relatively cold in daytime and cold in nighttime. Temperature is expected to rise while remaining 4°C lower than its annual average.

Another rise in temperature is expected for Sunday but remains few degrees below the average.

PMD warns people on Thursday and Friday against low visibility and slippery roads.
