rain sweeps away and fog rolls in

Fog decreased visibility to less than 500 metres in parts of the country on Tuesday, with forecasters anticipating more overnight.
Drivers were advised to drive carefully in the early morning because of the mist, particularly on the motorways, as fog was reported on the Dubai-Al Ain Road.
Humidity will peak at 95 per cent inland, 90 per cent along the coast and 60 per cent in the mountains. The worst of the fog is expected inland and in the northern areas of the country.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology warned those planning to spend time on the beach or in the sea to do so with caution, as conditions will be very rough in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman because of strong north-westerly winds.

Strong winds will also cause dust clouds in open areas, the centre said.
Wind speeds will increase to 55kph in the coastal areas of the country and 45kph inland.
Conditions will be partly cloudy throughout the day with relatively low temperatures across the country.
Temperatures will range between 14°C and 28°C inland, 12°C to 32°C along the coast and 10°C to 20°C in the mountains.
