The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba.

A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Sunday becoming above their seasonal average. Therefore, pleasant autumn conditions will prevail in most parts of the country while it will be moderate in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily brief said.

Clouds are also expected at various altitudes with fog formation over the hilly area and parts of the Badia, while winds will be southeasterly light to moderate, the JMD added.

Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will hover around 23 degrees Celsius, and in the southern cities 22 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 12 and 8 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 30 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 18 degrees at night.

On Monday and Tuesday, the weather will continue to be pleasant in most regions and moderate in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba with a slight chance for scattered showers in the eastern regions.
