Egypt's national disabled weight-lifting and swimming teams returned home Tuesday after participating in world paralympic championship in Mexico.

The disabled weight-lifting team won two gold medals in 61-kilogram weight and 97-kilogram weight, as well as a bronze medal in 86-kilogram weight.

Meanwhile, the disabled women swimming team made history after acquiring a bronze medal during the team's participation in 400 meters race.

The medal is the first to be won by Egypt and any African and Arab team.
