The Third Field Army law enforcement forces in cooperation with the Air Force managed to destroy a terrorist hotbed in Central Sinai, Military Spokesman Tamer el Refai said on Friday.

In a statement, the military spokesman added that a four-wheel-drive vehicle was destroyed and 316 large-sized packages of marijuana hidden in a truck have been seized during the raid.

Law enforcement forces of the Third Field Army continue efforts to maintain control and eliminate terrorist elements in Central Sinai, the spokesman added.
