Daesh terrorist group on Tuesday claimed responsibility for the deadly attack carried out by several suicide bombers near al Nahrawan area, southeast of Baghdad.

The attack left 17 killings and 28 injuries.

Iraqi police source said that security authorities have imposed curfew in al Nahrawan region, southeastern Baghdad in the aftermath of the terrorist attack, Al Sumariya News channel reported.

The police source,who spoke on condition of anonymity, noted that tight security measures have been taken by Iraqi troops.
