The Arab League Council on Tuesday urged the US and all world countries to adhere to all United Nations resolutions related to Jerusalem including resolutions 252, 267, 465, 476, 478 and 2334.

The council, at a meeting that was held at the request of Palestine, also called for adhering to the principles of international law, which deems all Israeli measures and laws aiming at changing the legal status of the city null and void.

The resolutions call for not setting up diplomatic missions in the city nor recognizing it as the capital of Israel.
