Wide military operations against militants in Syria

More terrorists were killed or injured in large-scale military operations that were launched on Wednesday against their hideouts and gatherings in several areas around the country.
Army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Khan al-Shih farms and Kherbet al-Abbasiyeh, killing big numbers of them, injuring others and destroying vehicles with all the terrorists inside on Khan-al-Shih-Zakia road in Damascus Countryside.
Meanwhile, a citizen was wounded by a terrorist sniper attack on Harasta highway in Damascus countryside.
A police source told SANA that a terrorist sniper targeted a private car on Harasta highway near the Water resources building, injuring a citizen.
The source added that terrorists launched two mortar shells on Harasta Suburb, leaving material damages in the place.
In Aleppo, army units killed many terrorists in Bab al-Hadid, Qadi Askar, Ain al-Tal, al-Lairamoun, Tal Refaat, al-Myassar and the Old City and destroyed their weapons and ammunition, a military source said.
It added that army units destroyed a number of terrorists’ vehicles, some of which are equipped with heavy machineguns, in Khan al-Asal, Andan, al-Bab, Deir Hafer, Hanano, al-Hader, Orom al-Soghra and Babis.
A military source said an army unit has foiled an attempt of a terrorist group to sneak into a military checkpoint in Kfariyeh village in Lattakia countryside, killing and wounding its members.
Taher al-Farousi, Osman Shaikh al-Bustan and Mahmoud Ismael were among the dead terrorists.
Terrorists’ infiltration attempts from al-Ghariyeh al-Gharbiyeh and to Nawa in Daraa Province were foiled, where many terrorists were killed or injured in the military operations.
An army unit also eliminated a number of terrorists after targeting their gatherings in Enkhil town, to the north of al-Nua’ima Town, near the western al-Khazan behind Salmin-Zimrin Crossroads and on the road leading to eastern al-Mulayha as two cars equipped with heavy machineguns were destroyed, in addition to other cars.
A number of terrorists’ cars were demolished on the road of Jasim-Enkhil and in Khirbat al-Mulayha to the north-east of Um al-Awsaj in the Countryside, and a number of the terrorists were killed and wounded.
Gatherings of terrorists were also targeted in Busr al-Harir roundabout and to the north-west of Tal Khudir as a number of them were killed.
A military source told SANA that army units killed terrorists and wounded others in Enkhel town and on Kharab al-Shahm-al-Yadouda road.
The army unit also targeted a terrorist group that was stationed in a building block in the vicinity of Atman town in Daraa countryside that used to open fire at the passing cars on Daraa-Damascus Highway, inflicting losses among the terrorists.
Army units pounded terrorists’ gatherings near the power station and at the Municipality Square in Daraa, killing and wounding several terrorists and destroying their weapons, according to the source.
In Homs countryside, the army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the areas of Aqrab, Masada, Ounq al- Hawa, Rahhoum, Abu Jwadiet and Oum Sahreej, killing scores of them and destroying a vehicle equipped with rocket launcher.
A military source told SANA that the army inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists in Aqerbat, Izz Eddin, Durrat Bazak, Oum Sharshouh and Qadi Faykha. Dozens of terrorists were killed and their weaponry were destroyed.
In Idleb, the army units targeted terrorists’ vehicles convoy in Tal Salmo, other units destroyed terrorists’ gatherings in Kwrein, Kifr Najd and al-Rami, scores of terrorists were killed and their vehicles and equipment were destroyed.
