Syrian army destroys gatherings, equipment of suicide groups in Daraa

Syrian Army units continued operations against terrorist groups by targeting their positions and gatherings in Daraa city and its countryside, killing numbers of terrorists and destroying their weapons and equipment.

An army unit destroyed a bulldozer belonging to the terrorist groups while involved in setting up barriers and fortifications in Daraa al Mahatta neighborhood in Daraa al Balad area, a military source told SANA on Thursday.

The source added that another army unit targeted the terrorists’ fortified positions in Daraa al Balad and destroyed two mortar launcher pads in the vicinity of Bilal al Habashi mosque.

To the east of Daraa city, an army unit carried out intensive strikes against a convoy of vehicles of the terrorists in al Na’imeh town, destroying a number of vehicles and killing and injuring a number of terrorists.

A vehicle of the terrorist groups was also destroyed and several of their members were killed in the army operations in the vicinity of Daraa Dam southeast of Daraa al Balad area.
